 ion to delete the word Palestine from some exhibits\, seemingly under pres
 sure from UK Lawyers for Israel. The Museum has pushed back on claims made
 \, but their explanations have been inconsistent. We need urgent clarity.\
 n\nAttempts to erase the word Palestine from the historic record are part 
 of the broader attempt to erase the Palestinian people\, culminating in Is
 rael's genocide in Gaza.\n\nJoin us to demand that the British Museum does
  not give in to pressure to alter history!
