Children Unchained Event – Walthamstow
A peaceable, multi-participatory, inclusive, FREE event in Walthamstow will take place on Sunday 17 March 2019, 2.30pm-5.30pm.
Come and hear British, Palestinian and Israeli speakers on the subject of Palestinian children under occupation.
We are delighted that Ahed Tamimi will address the event via a video message or in person.
The list of speakers will include Leanne Mohamed, a London teenager who suffered appalling online abuse after winning an award for her speech about Palestine as a 15 year old schoolgirl in the London Borough of Redbridge as well as speakers from the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, NEU and UNITE trade unions, Friends of Al-Aqsa, Free Speech on Israel, Mend and Waltham Forest Trade Council.
The visitors will be able to browse information and produce stalls by local organisations and enjoy authentic Palestinian & Middle Eastern food at the Hiba’s Pop Up stall.
All welcome! Bring your friends and family!
