SUMMARY:Don't Buy Apartheid - Day of Action
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 24 October\, join an action at a supermarket near y
ou to demand that they stop stocking Israeli goods and Coca-Cola products\
, and to spread the word about the mass consumer boycott.\n\nIsraeli fresh
produce\, like avocados\, oranges\, herbs and dates\, is grown and harves
ted on stolen Palestinian land. Coca-Cola’s franchisee in Israel operate
s a regional distribution centre in an illegal Israeli settlement in occup
ied Jerusalem. It’s therefore helping to entrench Israel’s illegal mil
itary occupation and colonisation of Palestinian land.\n\nWhen supermarket
s in Britain sell this produce\, they are profiting from Israel’s land t
heft and ethnic cleansing\, and contributing to Israel’s apartheid econo
my.\n\nRight now\, Palestinians in the West Bank are facing relentless lan
d grabs and attacks from the Israeli military and armed settlers. In Brita
in\, we can meaningfully oppose this violence by refusing to buy goods fro
m companies enabling it\, hitting their profit margins.\n\nJoin your local
PSC branch on Saturday 24 October\, as we hold protests and stalls at sup
ermarkets across Britain to call on them to stop stocking Israeli products
and Coca-Cola\, and to grow the mass consumer boycott of these goods.\n\n
 Lists of actions TBA.
