Illegal settlement expansion continues unabated, the crippling siege on Gaza rolls into its 14th year, Palestinian citizens of Israel continue to live as second-class citizens, and Trump’s so-called ‘deal of the century’ attempts to strip Palestinian refugees of their fundamental right to return to their homeland.

Hazem Jamjoum: Hazem is a writer and researcher. He is a policy member of Al Shabaka: The Palestinian Policy Network. His work has focused on political-economy approaches to Israeli colonialism and Palestinian elite formation, and critiques of partition-based conflict management “solutions,” among other areas.
