SUMMARY:EMERGENCY ACTION - STOP STARVING GAZA
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nPalestinians in the Gaza Strip are starving to death
due to Israel’s blockade - a blockade designed specifically to use star
vation as a weapon of war and of genocide.\n\nWe’ve all seen the hauntin
g images of Palestinian adults and children reduced to skeletons\, the exh
austed people holding empty pots and pans waiting for any small amount of
food aid available\, and cruelly\, often meeting their deaths this way. Ne
arly 1\,000 Palestinians have been shot to death by Israeli soldiers whils
t queuing for food.\n\nWe’ve seen these images\, and so has every member
of the British government. And yet they continue to send weapons to Israe
l\, making every excuse possible to continue supporting Israel’s genocid
 e: a partner in the bombing of hospitals\, schools\, shelters and homes\;
an accomplice in the mass starvation of an entire population.\n\nOur messa
ge to the British government is simple: end your complicity in Israel’s
genocide. Stop starving Gaza. Stop arming Israel now.\n\nThis Friday eveni
ng\, to deliver this urgent message\, we need at least 1\,000 people to br
ing pots and pans to Downing Street to leave in front of the Prime Ministe
r’s residence. This will be a solemn event\, to honour the lives cut nee
dlessly short by Israel’s cruelty and Britain’s complicity\, marking t
he at least 1\,000 who have been shot while queuing for food.\n\nWe're cal
ling on our branches\, and supporters across the country to take similar a
ctions this weekend\, to confront their local politicians and decision mak
ers with their complicity in these crimes\, and to call for them to urgent
 ly take action to end Britain's complicity.\nLOCAL ACTIONS\nThursday\, 24
