DESCRIPTION:Faversham and Whitstable Palestine   Solidarity Campaign\n\nI
nternational Day of Solidarity with the   Palestinian People- Friday 29t
h November 2013     In 1977\, the General Assembly of the United Nations
called for the annual   observance of 29th November as the Internationa
l Day of Solidarity with the   Palestinian People (resolution 32/40 B).
On that day we are showing this Palestinian documentary film that wa
s   nominated for a Oscar.     About the film - It is a deeply persona
l film made by farmer Emad Burnat\,   recording first-hand the non-viole
nt resistance of Bil'in inhabitants to the   bulldozing of their olive g
roves to build the Wall and take land for the illegal   settlement Modi'
in Illit. The Wall's route cuts off 60% of Bil'in farmland.     Burnat r
ecords the growth of his baby son\, born at the same time the   resistan
ce started\, and the way these events affect his family and friends.   F
