DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe evening will comprise a showing of Helen
 a Aksentijevic’s film about the group "Holocaust Survivors and Descendan
 ts Against the Genocide"\, a group which attends every march and other eve
 nts supporting Palestine.\n\nFollowing the film there will be a discussion
  between the films subjects and Luca Salice\, Chair of Westminster PSC. Th

 r Haim Bresheeth-Zabner: Speaker\nHaim is a filmmaker\, photographer and 
 author\, who has published extensively on cinematic history and Palestine.
  Haim has been a political activist for over 50 years.\nHis films include 
 "A State of Danger" (1989) on the first Intifada and "London's Burning: (2
 012) on the London disturbances. His books include "Introducing the Holoca
 ust" (1992\, 1997) with S Hood\, and "An Army Like No Other\, How Israel D
 efence Forces made a Nation" (2020).\nHaim has written extensively on Pale
 stine for many publications including Haaretz and Al-Ahraam Weekly. Haim i
 s the subject of a film by Helena Aksentijevic "Under the Rubble" (2024) a
 bout the Gaza Holocaust. Haim was recently arrested under the Terrorism ac
 t after speaking at a pro-Palestine event\, but later charges were dropped
 .\n\nMark Etkind: Speaker\nMark Etkind is the son of a survivor of the Lod
 z Ghetto and various concentration camps including Buchenwald and co-organ
 iser of 'Holocaust survivors and descendants against the Gaza genocide' - 
 a group that attends most Palestinian Solidarity marches.\n\nDoctor Agnes
  Kory: Speaker\nAgnes Kory founded the Bela Bartok Center for Musicianship
  in London.\nShe is a teacher\, performer and researcher in historical mus
 icology.\nWhen Agnes was born in Budapest\, in 1944\, her father was in Ma
 uthausen Concentration camp\, and her mother was in hiding on false papers
 .\nAgnes has been a life-long Zionist\, who was critical of the `Israeli t
 reatment of Palestinians\, but has recently become an anti-zionist after s
 eeing the genocide Israel is committing against the Palestinians in Gaza a
 nd is often seen on Palestinian Solidarity Marches and events."\n\nStephen
  Kapos: Speaker\nStephen Kapos\, Architect\, Artist and Activist\, is a ch
 ild survivor of the Holocaust. During the Siege of Budapest\, when Stephen
  was seven\, he found himself without his family\, moving from hiding plac
 e to hiding place on false papers.\nStephen came to the United Kingdom fol
 lowing the Hungarian uprising in 1956. He trained as an architect and rais
 ed his family here\n. Stephen is an anti-Zionist activist and has become a
  familiar face on Palestinian Solidarity Marches\, where he addresses the 
 marchers\, and at other pro-Palestinian events. Stephen has been extensive
 ly interviewed\, both on film and in print\, by Double Down News\, Skwawkb
 ox\, Owen Jones\, Al-Jazeera\, Middle East Eye\, Byline Times\, and the In
 dependent. Stephen has been the subject of a Film by Helena Aksentijevic\,
  "Stephen Kapos\, Holocaust Survivor" (2020)\nStephens experiences as a ch
 ild resonate strongly with him when he watches the experiences of children
  in Gaza." Stephen has been interviewed by the police in connection with h
 is part in the demonstration on the 18th of January\n\nLuca Salice: Modera
 tor\nLuca Salice is a translator and visiting lecturer at the University o
 f Westminster. He has for many years been an activist with the Palestine S
 olidarity Campaign. He is currently Chair of Westminster Palestine Solidar
 ity Campaign.\n\nHelena Aksentijevic – Filmmaker\nHelena Aksentijević 
 is a filmmaker and photographer. “Gaza\, it Rhymes With Me"\, is one of 
 a series of documentary films about people who support the Palestinian peo
 ple’s right to a homeland\, the right to return to their ancestral lands
  and live lives free from Occupation\, oppression\, apartheid and genocide
