(Organised by Lancaster PSC)
Drop in from: 10.00am to 4.00pm
Join us for quiet reflection and contemplation as we remember the 2,131 people killed in Gaza last summer, along with the 11,000+ people who were injured. The names of the Palestinians killed in Gaza have been written out in full on 31 rolls of torn bedsheet, measuring almost 1/3 of a kilometre in length. The rolls will be there to view and absorb.. We also aim to read out each name over the course of the day.
Please join us for as little or as long as you are able.
There will also be:
– information on the current state of Gaza and the non-existent re-build
– information on and a collection for Medical Aid for Palestinians (www.map-uk.org)
– Palestinian foods to sample and purchase
– crafts made by Palestinian people to buy
Find out how you can support the struggle for full rights, freedom and justice.
Basic refreshments will be available.
