DESCRIPTION:30 March is Yom al Ard\, Land Day\, when Palestinians and the s
 olidarity movement commemorate the ongoing struggle against Israel’s set
 tler-colonial land grabs and honour land defenders of past and present. 
  \n\nThis year Land Day falls in the wake of Israel’s reintroduction of
  the colonial land registration regulations in the West Bank\, which amoun
 ts to a mass land grab. As Israel’s genocide in Gaza continues\, and att
 acks on communities in the ’48 territory increase\, all Palestinians in 
 their historic homeland and in exile will continue to raise awareness of 
 the stakes of this ongoing Nakba\; honouring\, protecting and preservin
 g their unbreakable connection to their land.  \n\nThis webinar will s
 erve as a part of that important mission\, featuring renowned Palestinian 
 scholars and activists speaking directly to the escalating threat of ethni
 c cleansing\, its impact on specific communities and the inspiring ways in
  which Palestinians are resisting. They will also discuss the historic rel
 ationship between the Israeli state and the Jewish National Fund (JNF) in 
 carrying out land grabs. In this country\, the UK branch of the JNF remai
 ns a major fundraiser and propaganda outlet which operates as a registe
 red charity.  \n\nSpeakers include:\n\nDr. Salman Abu-Sitta is the foun
 der and president of the Palestine Land Society\, dedicated to the docum
 entation of Palestine’s land and people. He is a PSC patron. \n\nDr.
  Kholoud al Ajarma is a Palestinian anthropologist\, refugee rights adv
 ocate\, photographer and film-maker.  \n\nDr. Manal Shqair is a Pale
 stinian activist and scholar focusing on everyday resistance in Palestine 
 from a gendered and environmental justice perspective.  \n\nChaired by:
