An Evening of Solidarity with Bethlehem

Dr Kholoud al-Ajarma will speak on ‘Life and Resistance in a Palestinian Refugee Camp’. Dr al-Ajarma’s family were expelled from their home in Ajjur village in 1948 and have lived since then in Aida refugee camp near Bethlehem in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Kholoud has been active in the Stop the JNF Campaign. JNF UK funded British Park, which is on land stolen from her family.
Angela Bailey of Leicester PSC will speak on her recent voluntary work with Ghirass Cultural Centre in Bethlehem. We will also be screening a short film showcasing the centre’s colloboration with Musicians without Borders.
