DESCRIPTION:Northamptonshire Palestine Solidarity Campaign - Special Public
  Meeting\nWe are delighted to welcome guest speaker Eitan Bronstein who is
  the founder of Israeli NGO Zochrot (2001) and co-founder of De-Colonizer\
 , set up in 2015 together with political anthropologist and activist Eleon
 ore Merza Bronstein.\n\nThe meeting will take place on Monday May 21st\, 
 7.00 pm at Wellingborough African Caribbean Centre\, Rock Street\, Wellin
 gborough (please park in Jacksons Lane Car car - entrance from High Street
 ).\n\nEitan Bronstein Aparicio is the founder of Zochrot (2001) and co-fou
 nder of De-Colonizer\, set up in 2015 together with political anthropologi
 st and activist Eleonore Merza Bronstein.\n\nDe-Colonizer is a research an
 d art laboratory that produces materials to expose and challenge the colon
 ial nature of the Israeli regime. Based in Tel Aviv\, the work of De-Colon
 izer is both local and international and all the material are available in
  Hebrew\, French and English. De-Colonizer sees the situation in Palestine
  / Israel as settler-colonialism and combines research and activism to add
 ress it. Its activities include seminars\, direct actions\, conferences an
 d alternative tours in Israel and Palestine.\nDe-Colonizer has done signif
 icant work on the Nakba in Israel. It produces videos on direct action in 
 the streets of Tel Aviv\, such as this one in 2016 to commemorate the Nakb
 a.\n\nIn January 2018\, Eitan and Eleonore published their book called “
 Nakba in Hebrew”. It reflects on the political journey that changed the 
 discourse on the Nakba in Israel. A survey among Israeli Jews that was con
 ducted especially for the book found the close to fifth of them support th
 e right of return of the Palestinian refugees. Eitan will offer some insig
 hts on this specific research.\n\nEitan will also present the map “Colon
 ialism in Destru(A)ction that shows the Palestinian\, Syrian Jewish locali
 ties destroyed since the beginning of Zionist migration until today and in
