 nd ICAHD.\n\nSpeakers:\n\nJeff Halper\,  Israeli anthropologist and Direc
 tor of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD) and\n\nMoha
 mmad Sabaaneh\, Palestinian Activist and Award Winning Caricaturist.\n\nIn
  a Powerpoint presentation\, Jeff Halper and Mohammad Sabaaneh argue that 
 the Matrix of Control which Israel has laid over the Occupied Territory ha
 s effectively eliminated the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian
  “conflict” and has produced instead a regime of apartheid.\n\nFaced w
 ith apartheid and the permanent ‘warehousing’ of the Palestinians\, t
 hey go on to outline the only just solution that Israel has left us with: 
 a single constitutional democracy: one country\, one citizenship\, one pa
 rliament and one shared civil society in which its people's collective rig
 hts are also protected. The two speakers explore in depth how such a solu
 tion would work and what we need to do to reach it.\n\nFollowing the talks
