Join Palestinian chef Maha Salah at this masterclass for a chance to learn how to make two different traditional Palestinian desserts. Maha will guide you through how to make Shay Bil Miramiya cake – a dessert flavoured by Palestinian sage tea, as well as Warbat – pastries filled with cream that are traditionally served at weddings and graduations. This event is raising money for PSC’s vital campaigning work, and is co-hosted by Zaytoun CIC.
Maha is a Palestinian chef and food blogger for Middle East Monitor. She is currently living in the UK – her fifth country – and her travels are heavily reflected in her food. She carries a little bit of everywhere with her in her recipes, and is not afraid of merging flavours and cuisines to create innovative yet traditional recipes.
Once you have successfully registered for the event, you will receive an ingredients list and Zoom link via email.
