A free community event based around life in Palestine- featuring talks, films, food, dance workshops, music and photography.
Discussions about everyday life in Palestine will take place from 14:15, led by Sue Beardon from the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme.
There will also be an opportunity to hone your Dabke dancing skills at a workshop, as well as an oud player and Middle Eastern food.
Films will include SkatePal, a film about a charity providing skateboarding facilities and lessons in Palestine, alongside Slingshot Hip Hop, a moving documentary about the development of hip-hop music in Palestine and how young Palestinians have used music to overcome adversity.
