SUMMARY:Palestine is Still the Issue -  Pre-election public meeting
DESCRIPTION:The General Election 2015 is now only a few months away and des
 pite all the other problems in the world and the Middle East\, Palestine r
 emains a crucial issue for our Government’s foreign policy  and one tha
 t must be addressed if there is ever going to be peace and stability in th
 e Middle East. Gaza remains under siege\, tensions in East Jerusalem are a
 t an all time high and there is no sign that settlement building will stop
 \, essential before any meaningful final status negotiations can take plac
 e. Elections are due to take place in Israel shortly with the possibility 
 of an even more hard line coalition government coming to power.\n\nThe Wes
 t London branch of the national Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) has in
 vited the candidates from all 4 main parties to debate the issue therefore
 . We intend to hold a similar meeting in the Hammersmith constituency in M

 g about meaningful negotiations that would lead to the establishment of a
