“Learning About Palestine”
Join us for an interesting and informative new course for anyone who wants to learn more about the realities of life now for Palestinian people – and gain a good insight to the history of their displacement and dispossession.
The course will take place at the new Orange Box Young People’s Centre, which is on Thomas Street, Halifax HX1 1 RE, just above the Piece Hall.
Sessions will take place on the last Monday of the month from 7.00 to 9.00 p.m. and will include an illustrated talk from a guest speaker, film clips etc, and plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Course materials will be provided, together with a reading list of relevant books to be found in Calderdale Libraries.
There is no charge for the course, but participants will be invited to make a donation to cover the costs of room hire.
