This PSC webinar, featuring specialist contributors, will be looking at the experience of the Palestinian Citizens of Israel today. They represent around 20% of Israel’s population, who are descendants of those who were not forced to flee their homes in the events around the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948.

These Palestinian communities have faced decades of ongoing and systematic discrimination and dispossession, with dozens of laws curtailing their basic freedoms and human rights, all of which were strengthened and constitutionally legitimised by the Jewish Nation State Basic Law passed less than 2 years ago.
