No Pinkwashing will be on the London Pride march this Saturday 28 June – come and join us!
We will be in the trade union contingent with our “No to pinkwashing – No to Israeli Apartheid” banner, and we’ll be giving out our postcards against gay tourism to Israel. We would like to invite PSC members – whether LGBT or not – to come and join us in a visible demonstration of solidarity with Palestinian LGBTQ organisations and the Palestinian people in one of London’s biggest public events.
The trade union contingent will be on the south end of Baker Street (towards Oxford Street). We will be there from 12 noon, near BECTU with the Ritzy workers – cinema workers from Brixton who have taken repeated strike action as part of their campaign for the London Living Wage – and UNISON with their highly visible “Pride In Our Work” giant balloon
It would be excellent if PSC members could come and join us for all or some of the time so that there are more of us marching together – and more people to help give out our postcards. All are welcome – please bring friends, family and colleagues, and your Palestinian flags!
