  @70: Palestinian Refugees and the Right of Return\nBook your place using

  since the Nakba\; 70 years of ethnic cleansing leading to the apartheid r
 eality of today. Disparate Palestinian communities experience Israel’s i
 mposition of unjust structures of power: whether living under siege in Gaz
 a\, living   under direct military occupation in East Jerusalem and the 
 West Bank\, living as citizens of Israel denied full equality under the la
 w or expelled in 1948 and 1967 and denied the right of return.\n\nThe PSC 
 Right of Return conference - @70: Palestinian Refugees and the Right of Re
 turn – aims to provide the tools and education for a deeper understandin
 g of the right of return of Palestinian refugees\, as enshrined in Interna
 tional law. Thus the conference will include sessions on international law
 \, and the historical background of the displacement of now over 5 Million
  Palestinians. Further session will hear of the experience of the refugees
  and the various discourses encompassing the right of return.\n\nSpeakers:
 \n\nSession 1: The Nakba\, Refugees and International Law\n\nSalma Karmi-A
 yyoub - Lawyer and external consultant for the Palestinian human rights or
 ganisation Al Haq.\n\nHazem Jamjoum - Doctoral candidate in Modern Middle 
 East History at New York University and policy member of al-Shabaka.\n\n 
  \n\nSession 2: Palestinian Refugees: displacement\, dislocation and disp
 ersal\n\nDr Ruba Salih - Palestinian Social Anthropologist and reader at S
 OAS University. Specialist in ethnographic research on Palestinian refugee
 s.\n\nRania Madi - United Nations Legal Advocacy Representative of Badil\,
  the Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights.\n\n&nbs
 p\;\n\nSession 3: Palestinian Discourses of Return \n\nAmjad Iraqi - Pales
 tinian citizen of Israel\, writer for +972 Magazine\, and Policy Member of
  Al-Shabaka: The Palestinian Policy Network.\n\n Mohamad Fahed - Grew up 
 in a refugee camp in Lebanon\, and completed his MSC at UCL University\, a
 fter completing his Sixth form at Eton college.\n\n  \n\nSession 4: Real
 ising the Right of Return\n\nDr Ghada Karmi - Leading Palestinian activist
 \, academic and writer.\n\nEitan Bronstein - Co-founder of De-Colonizer an
 d founder of Zochrot.\n\nTareq Baconi - Author and journalist\, Analyst at
