DESCRIPTION:We are calling for an end to Israel's near-10 year siege on Gaz
 a\, and an end to the UK's arms trade with Israel.\n\nJoin PSC opposite Do
 wning Street on Friday 8th July at 5pm.\n\nFor the last ten years\, the de
 nsely populated Israeli occupied Gaza Strip has been besieged by Israel\, 
 by land\, sea and air. 1.8 million Palestinians\, the vast majority of who
 m are refugees\, are effectively trapped.\n\nAfter three major military as
 saults by Israeli forces in the last eight years\, resulting in the deaths
  of thousands of Palestinians\, and very little reconstruction\, Gaza is n
 ow virtually unliveable.\n\nTwo years after Israel's last major assault\, 
 which killed over 2\,220 Palestinians including 500 children\, the siege r
 emains firmly in place.\n\nThe siege of Gaza amounts to collective punishm
 ent\, illegal under the Fourth Geneva Convention. As the occupying power\,
  Israel has obligations to the people of Gaza\, under international law.\n
