Rebecca Vilkomerson, Executive Director of US-based Jewish Voice for Peace, will discuss the challenges faced by Palestine solidarity activists in the United States. She will address how Jewish Voice for Peace work to overcome them, providing insights into how we stand with Palestine in the UK.
Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) is a national organisation in the United States that campaigns for justice, equality and dignity for all in Palestine/Israel. They seek an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem; security and self-determination for Israelis and Palestinians and a just solution for Palestinian refugees based on principles established in international law. JVP has over 200,000 online supporters, over 70 chapters, a youth wing, a Rabbinic Council, an Artist Council, an Academic Advisory Council, and an Advisory Board made up of leading U.S. intellectuals and artists.
