Where Should the Birds Fly, A film by Fida Qishta

A powerfully moving, provocative film. The stories of two resilient young Palestinian women struggling for normalcy in the cruel abnormality of Gaza.

Documentary film screening and panel discussion at Amnesty International, Wednesday 15th April, 7-9pm

The film will be followed by a discussion and Q&A with panelists including:

  • Sarah Colborne, Director, Palestine Solidarity CampaignLayout 1
  • Rana Baker, SOAS graduate and activist from Gaza
  • Professor Halm Bresheeth, filmmaker, photographer and film studies scholar at SOAS
  • Emad Alqasim, Palestinian activist
  • Chaired by Dr Shohini Chaudhuri, Senior Lecturer in Film Studies at the University of Essex
