  country including Birmingham\, Brighton\, York\, Bristol\, Norwich\, Shef
 field\, Liverpool\, Exeter\, Hastings\, Bradford\, Oxford\, Whitstable\, H
 alifax\, London (at the Israeli Embassy and in Lewisham)\, and more..\n\nO
 n April 17th over 1500 Palestinian political prisoners held in Israel jail
 s\, many without charge began a hunger strike to protest at their unlawful
  and cruel treatment. This includes the use of torture during interrogati
 on\, solitary confinement\, numerous cases of gross medical negligence in 
 cases of acute health issues\, alongside the routine denial of family visi
 ts\n\nOn May 6th as the strikers enter the 19th day of the strike a day of
  solidarity will be taking place with vigils and demonstrations across the
