Brent Friends of Palestine presents a comedy evening in aid of the Palestine Trauma Centre’s Day of Joy Project.

Info and tickets HERE

Enjoy an evening of comedy with a range of comedians who are all sympathetic to the Palestinian cause. This is a fundraising event.

Mark Thomas, Nish Kumar, Daphne Baram, Imran Youssef, Jenan Younis and Ivor Dembina will take part in this fund raising comedy event, which will be compered by Ian Saville. All these comedians are totally committed to raising the issue of the curtailment of human rights in Palestine.

Monies raised from tickets, donations online (via Eventbrite) and donations on the night will support the work of the Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) in Gaza which was established by Dr Mohamed Altawil who was born in Gaza but escaped to the UK and is now the Director.

Brent Friends of Palestine, organisers of this event, are in close contact with the Director and supervisors of the Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) and the workers in Gaza itself… zoom has enabled all this to happen easily. We have continued to be impressed by the commitment of these people and what they achieve in a part of Palestine which has been blockaded by Israel for 15 years turning it into an open air prison.

Days of Joy have been the focus of our fundraising over the past 6 years; activities include drama, sport, play and fun entertainment. Therapists join the entertainers and will look out for children who might need some kind of therapeutic support which will be then offered to them and their families.

Thousands of children and young people have taken part in the Days of Joy activities; they are all organised by the Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) in Gaza and sponsored by fund raisers like Brent Friends of Palestine in the UK and Ireland.

Tickets £20.00 + booking fee. Tickets ONLY available from Eventbrite and NOT at the door.
