The Right to Roam
Sheffield PSC started the Right to Roam walk in May 2013, following the 268 miles of the Pennine Way from Edale, over Kinder Scout, the site of the historic Kinder Trespass, to Kirk Yetholm just over the Scottish borders.
In 2014 we walked from Lands End to Bristol, and then from Bristol to Edale, completing the ‘England section’ of the walk.
This year we are leaving Kirk Yetholm on 9 May The three walks so far have covered around 800 miles – a stark contrast to the harsh severe restrictions of movement for all Palestinians to, from and within Palestine, and in particular the harsh restrictions, attacks and siege of 1.8 m people within the narrow 26 mile Gaza Strip.
