Take creative action on Wednesday 18th March for the #UnitedAgainstRacism national day of action as part of Israeli Apartheid Week 2020 #UnitedAgainstRacism
Student protest was at the forefront of the international struggle that helped end Apartheid in South Africa. But the reality of apartheid is alive and well in 2020. So on this day of action let’s build on the history of student activism for justice and mobilise to break the chains of complicity between UK universities and Israel’s system of Apartheid.
The new PSC University Database shows that UK Universities are some of the most complicit institutions in Israel’s ongoing human rights violations against the Palestinians, with 100s of £millions of investments and other institutional links with companies who serve or arm Israel’s apartheid regime.
Let’s make it loud and clear that UK universities can never be free of institutional racism while they have investments and ties to those profiting from Israel’s denial of rights to the Palestinians.
Build now to take creative action on your campus as part of the national day of action on the 18th March 2020 to demand UK universities get #ApartheidOffCampus and pledge to be #ApartheidFree!
Together we are #UnitedAgainstRacism!
