DESCRIPTION:On Thursday 28th November\, answer the call of Palestinian trad
 e unionists by taking action in your workplace.\n\nTens of thousands of tr
 ade unionists in Britain have joined the huge national protests in London 
 and elsewhere and have been leading an array of solidarity actions. In Sep
 tember\, TUC Congress unanimously passed a motion demanding an end to all 
 arms trade with Israel\, reiterating support for Boycott\, Divestment and 
 Sanctions (BDS) and recognising that all Palestinians are subjected to a s
 ystem of oppression that is recognised internationally as apartheid. Congr
 ess also voted to adopt an emergency resolution to support calls for a UK-
 wide workplace day of action in support of an immediate ceasefire. \n\nPa
 lestinian workers\, remaining steadfast in pursuing their struggle for fre
 edom and justice\, have called on workers around the world to stand in sol
 idarity with them by campaigning to end the complicity of their government
 s\, corporations and institutions in Israel’s system of oppression.  \
 n\nOn 28th November\, join us and take action to call for an end to govern
 ment and corporate complicity in Israel’s atrocities\, and mobilise for 
 the national demonstration in London calling for a ceasefire.   \n\nD
 iscuss with your colleagues in your branch about what kind of action is be
 st suited to your workplace and its circumstances. Take action in your wor
 kplace:  \n\n 	Organise a lunch-time walk-out in solidarity with Palest
 inians. Gather outside your workplace for a photo. \n 	Circulate a petiti
 on calling for the divestment of pension fund holdings from companies comp
 licit in Israel’s attacks\, such as arms companies supplying Israel with
  the weapons it uses in its attacks.\n 	Organise a letter writing session 
 for your members to write to their local councillors to call on them to di
 vest LGPS funds administered by the council from companies enabling Israel
 ’s war crimes.\n 	Organise a lunch-time meeting\, teach-in or film scree
 ning to educate colleagues about the Palestinian struggle for freedom. 
  \n 	Distribute leaflets for the national demonstration on 30 November i

 t the attacks on students and staff in Britain for their solidarity with P
 alestine.\n\nNational Culture Walkout\, 5pm: London\, Theatre Square\; Gla
 sgow\, location TBC - Join a coalition of cultural groups including Art Wo
 rkers for Palestine Scotland\, CWAG UK\, The Mosaic Rooms and White Kite C
 ollective for a sector-wide walkout in solidarity with the Palestinian tra
