 e” - Public meeting with guest speaker Abdel Bari Atwan
DESCRIPTION:Abdel Bari Atwan is a well-known journalist and commentator on
  Middle East affairs. Born in Gaza\, he is the editor of the London-based 
 on-line news site Rai al-Youm. He’s the author of many books including 
 Islamic State: Digital Caliphate (2015)\, and he contributes regularly to
  UK\, US and Middle Eastern papers\, including The Guardian and Gulf News.
  He’s also a frequent guest on radio and TV\, including BBC’s Dateline
  London\, and the BBC Overseas Service (though he is very critical of BBC 
 bias). In a recent interview he said ‘The Middle East is on the threshol
 d of changes that could weaken the hegemony of the US if not end it entire
 ly\, and tip the balance in favour of the winning axis’. He has also sai
 d ’Palestinians tried the “peace process”…now we should go back to
  square one\, which means resistance’.\n\nFree admission - Donations wel
