Israel plans to use the World Travel Market expo in London to promote its illegal tourist enterprises in the illegally occupied Palestinian territory.
In September, the British government announced a range of partial sanctions on Israel and finally recognised that its occupation is unlawful. Ed Miliband even promised that stolen Palestinian land would not be advertised in Britain again. Yet between the 2-4 November the World Travel Market expo in at the Excel Centre, London will feature an Israeli agency promoting tourism in illegally occupied East Jerusalem. This is a real test to see if Ed Miliband’s words mean anything.
