Councillor Pledge for Palestine
We are asking elected representatives – from all political parties and none – to make a Pledge for Palestine.
They are asked to take all appropriate steps to:
(1) Uphold the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
(2) Challenge Israel on its genocide and apartheid.
(3) End complicity in Israel’s crimes.
This really matters. Our research has found that local government pension scheme funds invest more than £12.2 billion in companies complicit in Israel’s grave violations of international law, including in the arms companies that manufacture the bombs and bullets used to murder Palestinians.
