Aleida Guevara March, a Cuban paediatrician and daughter of revolutionaries Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara and Aleida March. A committed internationalist, having served on medical missions in Nicaragua, Venezuela and Angola, Aleida currently sits as the director of the Che Guevara Studies Centre in Havana.
Omar Barghouti, the co-founder of the Palestinian Boycott Divestment and Sanctions Movement, who put out the call for international solidarity through BDS as the broadest Palestinian civil society coalition in 2005.
