North Devon Palestine Solidarity Campaign is showing this Oscar nominated film at the Castle Centre in Barnstaple.
It is a beautiful, harrowing and shocking portrayal of life in the village of Bi’lin near Ramallah through the eyes and cameras of Emad Burnat. His idea was to watch the growth of his newborn child Gibreel via his camera. In doing so Emad chronicles the enormous difficulties of the villagers lives =under occupation and the constant threat of the expanding settlement.
A must see film.
