Barclays has one of the worst records globally for financing fossil fuels and it continues to finance the industry in spite of the climate emergency and spiralling environmental breakdown. The bank provides billions of pounds in investment, loans and underwriting to arms companies supplying the Israeli military in its genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
We will be joined by speakers from Campaign Against Arms Trade, Culture Workers Against Genocide, Money Rebellion, KIN Coop, London Mining Network, Islington Banks Better and Green and Independent Councillors, alongside the MP for Islington North, Jeremy Corbyn.
