“Ending the Cycle of Violence – Supporting a Cycle for Peace” by Laura Abraham, Founder of The Peace Cycle
“The Peace Cycle has taken 5 International groups to Palestine to raise awareness of the conflict, encourage activism and advocacy, and show solidarity with all who work for peace with justice. Over the years, people joining the Peace Cycle have included Muslims, Christians, Jews and people of other faiths and none, students, teachers, parents, children, professionals and non-professionals, with diverse backgrounds. The Peace Cycle does not adhere to any particular political philosophy, neither do we claim to know the recipe for a lasting peace agreement in Israel and Palestine – we simply believe that lasting peace and security can only come from equality and justice for all people.”
