Following a successful debut in London and tour to Vienna, Palestinian dance theatre troupe, Al Zaytouna Dance Theatre, is pleased to be taking its latest production to Southampton. Unto the Breach, a dance theatre adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henry V set in modern-day Palestine, will play at Turner Sims in Southampton on Saturday 8th March. The show fuses Palestinian folk dance (‘dabke’) with contemporary dance, poetry and theatre, set to a soundtrack of traditional Palestinian music and original compositions by Dave Randall, composer and guitarist from Faithless and Slovo.
