The UN Commission of Inquiry found that Israel is committing the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people. The continued siege on Gaza has created a deliberate and man-made humanitarian catastrophe, with 2 million people facing mass starvation. Israel continues to murder thousands of men, women, children, journalists, aid workers and healthcare workers, while the world watches.
In the West Bank, violence by illegal settlers and the IDF against Palestinians continues to escalate. Backed by the UK and US governments, Israel continues to act with impunity while our governments and corporations provide arms, investment, and political cover.
Palestinian workers are calling on us to stand with them. On Thursday 9 October, join workers across Britain in demanding an end to complicity with Israel’s crimes, and freedom for the Palestinian people.
Take Action in Your Workplace
• Raise awareness of the mass National Demonstration taking place Saturday 11th October, and share the PSC ‘All to London’ video.
• Hold a lunchtime walkout or photo action and share on social media tagged #workplaces4palestine
• Circulate petitions and letters with your colleagues calling for pension funds and councils to divest from arms and companies enabling apartheid
• Organise trade union meetings, teach-ins, or film screenings to raise awareness of the crisis in Palestine
• Support the Don’t Buy Apartheid campaign: no Israeli fresh produce, no Coca-Cola (both profit from illegal settlements on stolen land)
Palestinians are calling for global solidarity. On 9 October, take action in your workplace to demand an end to starvation, siege, and genocide in Gaza and justice for Palestine.
