We have some exciting opportunities available at PSC. We have two officer vacancies on our national executive committee that are available to apply for. We also have a number of volunteer opportunities.
Executive vacancies
For both of these posts you must be a PSC member and agree with PSC’s aims and objectives. These are voluntary posts and expenses are paid for travel to executive and other essential meeting.
Publications Officer
After many years of producing PSC’s members’ magazine, Palestine News, Gill Swain has decided to step back. So we are looking for a new publications officer, who would be a member of PSC’s executive committee. You would be responsible for:
- Producing PSC’s ‘Palestine News’
- Reviewing and updating PSC’s published campaign information
- Attending PSC’s executive committee meetings in London (fewer than 10 times a year ordinarily)

Youth and students officer
There is a vacancy for PSC’s youth and students officer.
This will involve:
- Working with PSC’s staff, executive, volunteers and branches to ensure that PSC is campaigning effectively with students
- Representing PSC at meetings / events occasionally
- Attending PSC’s executive committee meetings in London (fewer than 10 times a year ordinarily)

Volunteer positions
Database assistance
PSC are looking for volunteers with database experience. If you have CRM know-how or are able to learn new computer systems quickly we’d like to hear from you. Your work will have a direct impact on improving the services of the UK’s largest campaign for Palestinian human rights.
The number of people supporting Palestine in the UK has rocketed and we need to make sure we are keeping an accurate record of all of our amazing members and supporters. As support for Palestine grows so does our database – help us keep our records accurate and offer the best supporter care we can.

Proof readers
We are looking for proof readers who will help us to improve our written communications and help us make sure our work is mistake free! If you are available to check and respond to email requests on a reasonably frequent basis we’d love to hear from you. We are aiming to have a group of proof readers we can ask for support so you don’t need to be available all of the time – but would need to be able to return copy within tight deadlines on occasion.
