Our battle against the UK government continues. Last year, we won a key victory for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement at the High Court, which threw out regulations designed to stop Local councils from divesting their pension funds from companies supporting Israel’s illegal occupation.
Earlier this month, the Court of Appeal overturned the High Court decision, threatening the right of pension holders to make ethical decisions about how their money is invested.
This has generated significant new legal costs that PSC must now pay. We need to raise £100,000 in the next three months to cover these extra costs and to enable us to continue with our vital campaigning in support of Palestine.
We will also be seeking the right to appeal at the Supreme Court, so that we can consider continuing the legal fight against the Government. Whether we can or not entirely depends on your support.
We’ve been exceptionally active over the last few months. The US moved their embassy to Jerusalem in May – on the same day that Israel massacred 58 Palestinians in Gaza. Israel has continued using live fire against protesters in the “Great March of Return”, and has now killed 129 Palestinians and injured over 15,000 more.
PSC has led the UK’s grassroots response, organising four national demonstrations and over 50 local protests across the country. Our message to end the arms trade with Israel is now being heard loud and clear in Parliament – with over 40,000 of you signing our petitions and emails to MPs and the Foreign Office.
Our campaign work is going from strength to strength. But to continue the upward momentum of the fight for justice for Palestinian child prisoners, to ban settlement goods, and implement an arms embargo on Israel, we need your financial assistance.

You’ve given generously in the past, but we need your support now more than ever. The £100,000 we urgently require means doubling our normal monthly income over the next few months.
So please give as much as you can – every little bit will allow us to continue striving for a free Palestine.
