After seven years as Director of PSC, Sarah Colborne has decided to move on.
Sarah took over as Director in the aftermath of the assault on Gaza in the winter of 2008/9 (Operation Cast Lead). During her time as Director, PSC has grown in influence, effectiveness and size. She led PSC through major campaigns in support of Palestine.
Sarah is committed to Palestine and PSC, as she has demonstrated on many occasions. Although she has accepted another job starting in the New Year, she will continue to play an active role in helping PSC’s growth.
PSC would like to thank Sarah for everything she has done and looks forward to working together in the future.
PSC will be making appropriate arrangements to celebrate Sarah’s contribution to the solidarity movement.
PSC will, as soon as practicable, appoint an Interim Director for a limited period whilst undertaking a full recruitment and selection exercise to fill the post of Director on a permanent basis. An announcement will be made shortly about the arrangements for seeking an interim Director. The Executive Committee will make a statement to the PSC AGM in January on staffing.
