As our #VotePalestine campaign continues to grow we are delighted to let you know that over 15,000 messages have been sent to candidates in 623 constituencies! However, whilst these are encouraging results, this really is just the beginning. It is vital for eachcandidate to receive as many messages from constituents as possible, ideally in the hundreds. Pressure must be applied en masse, so that our campaign encourages political parties across the spectrum to prioritise justice for Palestine.
We need to build on our success by increasing the reach of our message. If you have already emailed all your local candidates, please forward us their response (to [email protected]) and share what you’ve done with friends, family and colleagues, in your and other constituencies.
Another way to stay involved and raise the issue of Palestinian human rights in local areas is to sign up to organise actions such as leafleting and stalls. Raising the issue of Palestine in constituencies is important as it allows other voters to become involved and connects them to the #VotePalestine campaign!
Get involved and take action. Let’s make sure all candidates know how we feel about Palestine!
The largest ever AGM in the history of Palestine Solidarity Campaign is testimony to the growth in support for Palestine in the UK.PSC members, branch organisers, members of the exec, volunteers, activists and staff came together to debate and vote on PSCs campaigning priorities for the coming year, and listen to an inspiring range of speakers, including Omar Barghouti and Mustafa Barghouti joining us via Skype, Karma Nabulsi and Ghada Karmi.
This is our opportunity to escalate our campaign and use this tipping point to make a difference for Palestine. The aim of this event is to decide how to best use our increasing strength as a movement to achieve freedom, justice and equality for Palestinians. The Summit aims to provide a space for activists to plan for key issues and get involved in PSC’s campaigns, including BDS campaigns, media bias, the 2015 General Election, and tackling the arms trade.
Speakers and facilitators include Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the BDS movement -Owen Jones, author, activist and journalist at The Guardian – Karma Nabulsi, Palestinian academic – Hugh Lanning, PSC Chair and Sarah Colborne, PSC Director and more to be announced.

Tell HP’s CEO: “Don’t aid Israel’s war crimes”
Take action on Hewlett Packard!
Thousands of you have already signed our pledge to boycott Hewlett Packard (HP) until they end their complicity in Israels brutal occupation of Palestinian land. HP technology plays a central role in various facets of Israels oppression, by allowing Israel the biometric capabilities on which its suffocating system of checkpoints is reliant. The devastating and inhumane siege on Gaza involves HP technology and also provides services and technology to Israels illegal settlements in the West Bank.
The next stage of our campaign to highlight and end HP’s extensive involvement and complicity in Israels crimes is our letter to HP’s top level CEOs and directors. We have written a letter which as many of us need to sign as possible. This letter with all its signatories will be presented to HP ahead of its AGM in March. Let’s maximise our impact with as many signatures as possible! Please take a moment to sign and share widely!
