Palestinian prisoner rights organisation Addameer is concerned for the lives of four Palestinian political prisoners on hunger strike. They are protesting against Israel’s use of detention without trial.
As Palestinian BDS National Committee says ” Israel’s use of detention is made possible by the support of G4S, a private security company that provides equipment and services to prisons at which Israel detains Palestinian political prisoners without charge and subjects them to torture and ill-treatment.”

Operation Cast Lead: Parliamentary meeting
Andy Slaughter gave an impassioned speech about what he witnessed in Gaza.
This week a packed meeting in Parliament, hosted by Jeremy Corbyn MP,commemorated four years since the ending of Operation Cast Lead. Palestinian Ambassador Manuel Hassassian, Andy Slaughter MP, Sarah Teather MP, Hugh Lanning, PSC Chair and Rania Al-Najjar from Gaza were joined by Palestinians representing Meezaan Centre for Human Rights and Yousef Al Sedeeq Institute for Prisoners Protection.
