A new Europe-wide petition has been launched to call for the EU to match its condemnations of Israeli violations with concrete actions. It calls specifically for a ban on settlement produce and an end to all EU financial transactions that support illegal settlements.
It asks our politicians to ensure that Israeli military and security companies, and other organisations working for or working in illegal settlements don’t benefit from EU research funding.

PSC’s new website was launched at our packed Annual General Meeting on 26 January.
A panel including: Jeremy Corbyn MP, writer Ben White, human rights activist Maha Rezeq, journalist Asa Winstanley and PSC Chair Hugh Lanning, discussed 21st Century solidarity.
Members led discussions on PSC’s priorities for 2013, and set the framework for the year ahead – to transform public opinion into political pressure on Palestine. See pictures>>
Rania al-Najjar, a Palestinian student from Gaza, was presented with a gift for her advocacy work during her year in London as a Fakhoora student.
Palestinian Ambassador Manuel Hassassian (pictured) closed the conference with a rousing speech, saying that PSC means so much, ‘you are the lungs through which we breathe’.
