On Monday 13th October, the UK Parliament voted by a massive majority (274-12) to support the recognition of Palestine. Here, Husam Zomlot talks about that vote and what he believes should happen next. In fact, of all those MPs able to vote (excluding members of the Government) and absolute majority voted in favour of recognition – even if all those who abstained voted against, the vote would still have been won.
