We are protesting against the British Museum’s decision to delete the word Palestine from some exhibits, seemingly under pressure from UK Lawyers for Israel. The Museum has pushed back on claims made, but their explanations have been inconsistent. We need urgent clarity.
Attempts to erase the word Palestine from the historic record are part of the broader attempt to erase the Palestinian people, culminating in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
