The Palestine Solidarity Campaign works for peace & justice for Palestinians,in support of human rights & against all racism
Join the National Lobby of Parliament for Palestine. 400 people have already signed up via our e-tool to be part of this important Lobby. More than 200 MPs have been asked for meetings. Be a part of this extraordinary day.
Please use our e-tool in advance of the lobby to email your MP and ask for a meeting. But if you don’t – please do come along anyway and you can ask your MP for a meeting on the day itself (though there is of course no guarantee they will be available).
It is really important that we have hundreds of people there on the day – come and be part of it!
A BBC Online article about the life of Israeli settlers breached editorial guidelines on accuracy, the BBC has ruled. PSC pointed out inaccuracies in the article, including one of the settlers who was interviewed saying: “About 90% of settlements are right on the border of the Green Line [the 1949 armistice line]. It is relatively rare to find a hilltop settlement.”
This month, nine months after PSC first complained about the article, the BBC ruled that Cohen’s comments “were inaccurate in a way which, in the context, was materially misleading”.
The comments have now been removed from the original article, and the ruling has been published on the BBC website.
Prawer Plan – Day of Rage
Outrage is growing against Israel’s Prawer Plan, which threatens to forcibly displace more than 40,000 Palestinian Bedouins – who are Israeli citizens – from their homes in the Naqab (the Negev desert). People are protesting against these plans on 30th November.
Get involved! Make sure that you lobby your MP as part of the National Lobby of Parliament for Palestine.

Gaza blockade
The siege on Gaza is plunging Palestinians into a new crisis. A video shows children wading through sewage to reach their schools, but of course when they get there their learning is hampered by the electricity cuts – now for 18 hours a day. Read Sarah Salibi’s blog about how the electricity cuts are impacting on her family. Having subjected people to these shocking conditions the Israelis attacked Gaza on Tuesday night.
Please join the lobby of Parliament where we will be asking MPs to call for an immediate lifting of the blockade on Gaza.
