BDS IS having an impact. The Electronic Intifada reports that the British ambassador in Tel Aviv has warned Israel it faces increasing isolation and expresses his concern “that in five years Israel will wake up and find that it does not have enough friends.”
The wide-ranging Israeli Channel 2 report also showed that boycotts are having an impact on Israeli businesses located in its illegal colonies, and sales of produce from illegal settlements in the Jordan Valley are in freefall.

Boycott SodaStream
SodaStream is a company which produces devices for home carbonating your drink and has its main production facility on an illegal Israeli settlement, Ma’ale Adumim, in the occupied Palestinian West Bank. Despite this clear contravention of international humanitarian law, many household names are still prepared to be associated with the brand:
Last week, Scarlett Johansson accepted a role as Sodastream’s “first ever brand ambassador”. She also acts as a global ambassador for Oxfam.

Oxfam have stated that they are now in dialogue with the actor about the issue. Human rights activists are shocked at her involvement in Sodastream’s violations of international law, and are calling on Oxfam to ditch Scarlett Johansson. Find out more>
PSC’s Amena Saleem exposed John Lewis’ complacency about SodaStream’s crimes, and the store’s reluctance to pull out of the occupation business that SodaStream brings. We are urging John Lewis to stop stocking SodaStream products and encourage you to do so. Find out more>
