David Cameron visits Israel
In a week when 6 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli troops within 24 hours David Cameron is flying off to Israel saying “I’ve got a planeload of innovative British companies coming with me and we’ll be linking them up with Israeli businesses so they can forge new partnerships.”
Tell David Cameron whilst occupation, apartheid and killing are business as usual for Israel, there should be no business with Israel.

Call for David Cameron to:
  • Recognise Palestinian rights and the urgent need to end Israel’s violations of international law
  • Demand an immediate and final lifting of the blockade on Gaza: David Cameron himself referred to Gaza as a ‘prison camp’. Due to the blockade, Gaza is due to suffer a massive power shortage, leaving millions in the dark, without heating. Millions are living in limbo because of the consequences of the blockade which prevents normal life like work, study and travel.
  • Exclude settlement goods from UK markets. The UK policy is in line with international law, clearly stating that Israel’s settlements on occupied Palestinian land are illegal – so why then are their goods imported and sold in British shops?
  • Ban all military sales and imports to and from Israel

Education under Occupation – stories from West Bank and Gaza students
Skype chat
PSC’s speaker event on 1st April will highlight the many ways in which Israel violates Palestinian access to education.
We have student speakers from Gaza, the West Bank and from within Israel. Only six weeks ago, Israeli forces stormed Al Quds University in Abu Dis, throwing tear gas bombs and firing rubber coated steel bullets at students.
Come and hear the students talk about their experiences and how they rise to the challenge of studying under Israeli occupation. More information>
This event is part of PSC’s work to link students in the UK with Palestinian students, and to raise awareness on campuses of the struggles faced by young Palestinians living under occupation and, in Gaza, under siege. Part of this work includes organising Skype sessions between students here and students in Gaza. You can read about the conversations between the students on Chat2Gaza.
The speaker event on 1st April is open to all – students and non-students.
PSC’s tribute to Bob Crow
You will have been as shocked and saddened as we are to learn of the untimely death of Bob Crow. Bob was a strong and principled supporter of Palestinian rights. Bob was General Secretary of the RMT Union, which is a key affiliate of the PSC and Bob himself was a patron of PSC.
Bob was a true friend of the Palestinians – from taking time out of his busy schedule to come to Palestine on a PSC delegation, and challenging the Israeli army whenever he came across them, to speaking out at the Trades Union Congress for peace and justice for Palestine. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Bob’s family and friends.

Hares boys – one year since their arrest
It is now a year since Palestinian teenagers from Hares village in the occupied West Bank were taken from their families in the middle of the night, interrogated, some placed in solitary confinement and now face a possible life in prison for a crime that may never have happened.
Mohammad Suleiman, Ammar Souf, Mohammed Kleib, Tamer Souf, and Ali Shamlawi are being held in an Israeli adult military prison charged with 20 counts of attempted murder for alleged stone-throwing and 5 counts of stone-throwing each, with no evidence whatsoever.
They’ve been denied any sort of justice in the Israeli military court system that convicts Palestinian children at a 99.7% rate. The Hares Boys have the right to live their young lives without the brutal military court system cutting them short in a mock judicial process.
Please sign this petition demanding the freedom for the Hares Boys.
