Join the Stop G4S protest
Thursday 5th June, 1pm to 4pm
Western Terrace, Excel Centre, Royal Victoria Dock,
1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL
G4S is under huge pressure: the UK government-funded watchdog, OECD, has agreed to investigate its activities in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories. This comes on the back of the news that the Gates Foundation – under significant pressure from Palestinian rights organisations including PSC – has sold the vast majority of its £110 million stakehold in G4S.
|
Our continued efforts to hold G4S to account are needed more than ever. On 24th April 2014 approximately 100 Palestinian administrative detainees launched a mass hunger strike in response to their continued detention without charge or trial. Most of those on hunger strike have now gone 35 days without food. On 28th May 2014, 40 of them were transferred to hospital as their health deteriorated rapidly. |

Help us to pile more pressure on G4S. We have around 3,000 signatures on our petition for the Chair of the G4S board, help us get that to 3,500! We are calling on G4S to withdraw from Israeli prisons, and end its involvement with Israel’s human rights abuses. Sign the petition here.
This Thursday 5th June, G4S will be holding its annual shareholders’ meeting. PSC will be there to send a clear message that profiting from Israel’s illegal military occupation is unacceptable. Join us all for a demonstration to show G4S they can’t get away with their human rights abuses. Bring your friends, banners, drums and anything else you can make noise with!

Our live comedy night was a huge success with over 200 people attending the show, packed into a heaving venue. The comedy gig was quickly sold out – three weeks before the event. We would particularly like to thank Stewart Lee, Jen Bristow, Shazia Mirza, Kate Smurthwaite and Ava Vidal for their performances.
