Puma have their AGM later this week, and we want to send a loud message ahead of then that they must end their sponsorship of the Israel Football Association (IFA).
The IFA operates in illegal Israeli settlements on land stolen from Palestinians. Every settlement is a war crime under international law – pushing indigenous Palestinian families off their land, robbing natural resources, and denying Palestinians their right of movement.
By sponsoring the IFA, Puma is complicit in supporting these crimes.

I’m calling as a customer deeply concerned about Puma’s current sponsorship of the Israel Football Association.
I understand you are not responsible for this, but ask you to make a note and kindly pass my message on within Puma. My feelings are shared by thousands of others across the UK.
The Israel Football Association operates in illegal Israeli settlements, on land stolen from Palestinians. Puma’s sponsorship brings international legitimacy to the Israel Football Association and helps sustain the infrastructure of illegal settlements.
Every settlement is a war crime under international law – pushing indigenous Palestinian families off their land, robbing natural resources, and denying Palestinians their right of movement.
More than 200 Palestinian football teams have called on Puma to end its support of Israel’s military occupation by terminating its sponsorship deal, and there is a rapidly growing boycott Puma campaign being led by human rights activists across the globe.
Here in the UK over 50,000 emails have been sent to football clubs, calling on them to end current partnerships with Puma because of your complicity in supporting illegal settlements. I have seen protests on UK high streets across the country – including outside your flagship store on Carnaby Street in London – highlighting Puma’s continued unethical sponsorship of the Israel Football Association. Football Clubs, such as Forest Green Rovers, have already announced they will boycott Puma from now on.
Amnesty International recently stated that it is not possible to do business in or with Israeli settlements without contributing to violations of international humanitarian and human rights law. It is noted that Puma’s exclusive licensee in Israel – Delta – was listed in the recently published UN database of complicit settlement companies.
I am extremely surprised that Puma has continued its unethical sponsorship of the Israel Football Association, and am calling to say I will personally be boycotting Puma for as long as it remains complicit in Israeli war crimes.
